BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED

We are pleased to announce that the Boil Water Notice issued on 23 August 2026 around 1:00pm for members in JWSC service area has been officially lifted as of 1:00PM on August 26, 2026.

The water is now safe for all uses, including drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes/food, and preparing baby formula. Laboratory testing has confirmed that the water meets all state and federal drinking water quality standards.

This lift follows successful repairs to the raw water line water main, restoration of system pressure and satisfactory test results from certified labs.

What You Should Do Now:

You no longer need to boil tap water or use bottled water for consumption.
Throw out any ice and Flush ice makers, water filters, and any appliances connected to the water line as needed.

Please Continue to Conserve Water

While the immediate emergency has passed, we kindly ask you restrict all unnecessary outdoor water use

Irrigation systems should be off until notified (JWSC staff will be issuing violations for outdoor watering)
Water only outdoor plants that are extremely fatigued

Easy ways to keep conserving:

Take shorter showers (aim for 5 minutes or less).
Run dishwashers and washing machines only when full. (I’m sure this won’t be a problem as they have been stacking up) lol!
Turn off faucets while brushing teeth, shaving, or washing produce.
Fix leaks right away (a dripping faucet can waste hundreds of gallons).
Limit non-essential outdoor watering.

Water Restriction Still in Effect

August 15, 2026

NEW WATERING SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

In an effort to spread out the high usage demands for watering, Jonestown Water Supply has implemented a revised watering schedule.

ODD numbered addresses may water on TUESDAYS from 12am-7am OR 7pm-12am

EVEN numbered addresses may water on THURSDAYS from 12am-7am OR 7pm-12am

COMMERCIAL (included HOA's) accounts may water on FRIDAYS from 12am-7am OR 7pm to 12am

You may continue to water with a hand held hose at anytime.

Friendly reminder that Jonestown Water Supply is still in stage 2 water restrictions. This means that you may only water ONCE a week between the hours of 7pm and midnight OR midnight and 7am.

RESIDENTIAL AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEMS:

Odd numbered addresses WEDNESDAYS and Even numbered addresses THURSDAYS

RESIDENTIAL HOSE END WATERING:

Odd numbered addresses SATURDAYS and Even numbered addresses SUNDAYS
